light painting in clarksville. some abandoned poolhouse in the more secluded area of downtown. we used chemlights to illuminate part of the room, because it was pitch black save for a few beams from the window. the painting was done with a cheap aaa battery flashlight from dollar general.

ok, so i have read a little bit about light painting, and i tried it once with a stationary light and moving the camera, but how do you do it with a stationary camera and a moving light?

um.... pretty much the same way. what did you mean, that you didn't want to be in the final photo? if that's the case, you should be painting in near-darkness. that way, the sensor only picks up the light, and not YOU.
